"ACE Soaring High!"
U.S.A. - During the month of June, Ch. Polo's The Aviator ("Ace") maintained a very busy competition schedule travelling throughout Montana and Idaho.
One of his early stops found him at the June 9th Snake River Valley Kennel Club show in Filer, Idaho.
As most people know, Idaho isn't really convenient to anywhere, but
the club drew competitors from all over the country, and Ace was among the finest.
After winning a couple Best of Breed, Ace took the Hound group and a Group placing. Additional U.S.
competition in June included another Breed and Hound Group win and Group placings with Amy Booth (BlueRose Kennels) handling.
After picking up 100 breed points in the U.S., Ace claimed additional Breed and Group wins and two Group placings at home in Canada.
Shortly thereafter, Ace was back in the American show ring where he came home with another Breed and Group win and Group placing.
In recent local competition at the Pacific Kennel Club All Breed Championships, Ace acquired a couple Group wins and Group placings.
Next stop, the Canadian Nationals in Calgary, Alberta.
Ace is currently ranked number 2 in Breed Point System. Towards the end of the year the top 25 dogs in each breed will
be invited to compete at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Invitational December 12th and 13th, 2009 in Long Beach,
California for the largest cash prizes in dog show history. At the 2008 Eukanuba, Ace won Best of Breed and a Group 2
Bred by.
Ace's kennelmate, Sylvie, Ch. Calling Polo's A Touch of Freedom,
sired by Multi BIS, Multi SBIS, AmCan National, Grand Ch. Polo's In The Air Tonite, CanFch, AmSC, AmCanCD CGN
- ("Aries"), made her U.S. debut this spring in
California winning the Hound Sweeps at the Afghan Hound Club of California Specialty. In recent competition Sylvie edged
ever closer to the coveted American Championship title with back-to-back open female wins. Her future includes competing
in Europe for additional titles. Watch for this Polo rising!
